Pizza Day

On Monday 15th July, Year 4 had a Pizza Day with help from the Oasis the Healthspace. We learnt about the vitamins in different ingredients and applied this to making a healthy pizza each; we found out about the activity trackers we are wearing; ran or walked the daily mile; experienced what it is like to be a cook, waiter/waitress or customer in a pizza restaurant; played parachute games; and ate our delicious pizzas! We all really enjoyed it.

Wearable Digestive Systems

April 2019: Blue Class have been learning about the digestive system as part of our topic 'Burps, Bottoms and Bile'. We enjoyed drawing the whole digestive system onto T-shirts, and then coloured in each separate part. We had so much fun!

Science: Electricity

Blue Class had a great time learning about the flow of electricity around circuits. We had to create our own circuit in order to make a light bulb light up - using only wires, batteries and a light bulb!

Internet Safety

Blue Class wrote and performed their class assembly all about how to stay safe on the internet. We enjoyed watching their short performances, and all learnt a lot about how to stay safe online.

Rambert Workshop

Year 4 were fantastic in their first Rambert dance session. The class worked hard to keep up with the dance routines taught to them, and then they worked together collaboratively to invent their own. This was the first of a sequence of workshops which will result in the class performing a final piece. These sessions will develop core strength, balance, physical fitness and teamwork. I can’t wait to see their final work.
