Meet the Community Hub Team

Steve Chalke

Steve is the founder of Oasis, minister of Oasis Church Waterloo and the Waterloo hub leader. 
He is passionate about transforming the local community of Waterloo, ensuring that there is opportunity
and hope for every person regardless of their background.

Di Morgan

Di is the Executive Principal of Oasis Academy Johanna and joined the hub leadership team when the
school became part of the Oasis family.  Having been at Johanna for several years, Di is well known in
the community and understands the concerns and dreams of the people who live here.

Ro Leech

Having worked for Oasis Church Waterloo since 2003, Ro is now the hub manager and is responsible
for the logistical management of the hub strategy on a day to day basis.  Ro has worked in the Waterloo area
for over 20 years and has a passion to see it continue to change for the better in the future.

Nathan Jones

Nathan runs the Waterloo Foodbank, Oasis Debt Advice Centre and is working to set up a new Credit Union
in the Oasis Centre. A member of the leadership team at Oasis Church Waterloo, Nathan is also dad to Seren,
who’s enjoying being part of Rainbow class.

Felicity Maries

Felicity (or Flick) is the Community Development Manager for our hub. She works across the whole hub to build
community through a variety of activities; from parent and toddler groups and holiday programmes at the Oasis
Playspace, to Community Choirs, Adult Education courses, and wider community events, including our annual
Summer Jamboree, Christmas events and the Waterloo Carnival.

Louisa Parrales

Our Children & Family Development Worker, Louisa, supports children and families as they link to all aspects of
Oasis’s work throughout the Hub, and particularly focuses on projects to support children and their families at
Oasis Academy Johanna, where Louisa is also the chaplain.
