Consultation
About the Johanna Development Scheme
As co-partners, Lambeth Council and Oasis last spoke to you some years ago about the opportunity of creating a joint educational and community facility. Within that time, we have been moving forward and we’re now excited to bring you the updated indicative plans, ideas, and concepts to you for discussion.
We want to give our children and the whole Waterloo neighbourhood enhanced opportunities for education and training, through a new ‘state-of-the-art’ educational facility, with increased space, a dedicated SEND Resource Base, and other community and education facilities, including a new library and a restaurant offering training opportunities enabled by a mixed-use development, which responds to and respects the needs of the Waterloo community.
The scheme will deliver new connections to Lower Marsh and active frontage on Baylis Road, increasing safety and vibrancy, and will also provide a new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) which will be available for community use outside of the school day.
Our public consultation is open from Monday 15th November until Monday 13th December 2021, so we hope this webpage is useful and has all the information you need, and we look forward to hearing your response to our proposal which can be done via the questionnaire on this page.
