Penny Appeal

Penny Appeal

Bess, Ferial and Umaymah are delighted to announce the results of their hard work raising money for The Penny Appeal.

Thank you to all who gave money for the ‘Guess how much money is in the jar’ game. We counted carefully and checked our results. There were 266 coins in the jar! This amounted to £75.51.

The winners are Omer in Y1 who guessed the closest amount of coins, and Erika in Y5 who guessed the closest total amount. They both win book vouchers kindly donated by Tara. Theo and Lily in Y3 won the teddy who is now called Brighton. Thank you to Claire (Bess’s mum) for donating the teddy. The money raised from wear your own clothes to school and the two games came to £178.08, so the grand total raised for the Penny Appeal was £253.59. Thank you to everyone who kindly donated to this. Monica has sent a cheque to the Penny Appeal from the school.  For more information about the Penny Appeal visit https://pennyappeal.org/
